Nocton and Potterhanworth Neighbourhood Plan

Next Actions

I telephoned North Kesteven District Council for an update regarding the 'next actions' relating to our Neighbourhood Plan. This is what they had to say:

"As you will be aware a community referendum for the Nocton and Potterhanworth Neighbourhood Development Plan took place on Thursday 8 June 2017, which posed the question ‘Do you want North Kesteven District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Nocton and Potterhanworth to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’.  The Turnout at the referendum was 72.59%, with more than 85% of the votes cast in favour of the plan. Since more than 50% of those voting in the community referendum voted in favour of the Plan, the District Council has to bring the Plan into force. Therefore the plan will be presented to Full Council on 13 July, at which point elected members will adopt the plan and it will become part of the local development framework for the District."
